Description
In each of the workshops, participants will engage in exploring Rohingya cultural aspects. Starting from clothing to cooking recipes, participants will learn about different traditions.

Introduction (5 minutes)
- Welcome the participants
- Remind the participants that this workshop is part of the course about Rohingya Culture and Traditions
- Introduce the session of the day (objective and how long it will be)
Main activity (70 minutes)
Part 1 – Presentation of the main outcomes of the course to the community (45 minutes)
- Ask the participants to come forward and give their speech
- Using the speaker and the projector, all the records and pictures will be shown to the participants and the public.
- Showcase all the pictures drawn, musical instruments to the visitors.
- Ask the participants to explain the visitors about:
- what they have been doing during the course,
- how they collected the content,
- who were the resource persons among the community that helped them gathering the songs, poems, recipes, etc.
Part 2 – Evaluation of the course (25 minutes)
- Explain: At the end of a course, we always do an evaluation to make sure that everybody understood the course. This is now the evaluation time. It will be simple questions on what we learnt. It will be an individual evaluation and you will have to answer some questions.
Conclusion (15 minutes)
- Thank the participants for their involvement and concentration during the session.
- Summarize what was learnt during the course: The course aimed to broaden participants’ understanding of culture as well as to collect traditional fairy tales, cooking recipes, poems, music, and cloths (picture or drawing of traditional clothes) that represent the tradition in the Rohingya community. In each of the workshops, participants engaged in exploring Rohingya cultural aspects. Starting from clothing to cooking recipes, participants learned about different traditions.
- The course is now finished, thank the participants for their active involvement. Invite them to the Ideas Box center for free time use, where they have access to all the content to learn more things.
